Vondaria
Vondaria
A freehearted people surrounded by rigid and lawful states, Vondaria has been taken in an unusual direction by its current king. Kolvar's father, Niall wed a powerful elven sorceress, Aredhel Silverleaf from Illisiyn, producing only one male child. Most of
Vondaria approved of the marriage. However, some humans dislike the mixing of elven blood with the longstanding human line, and some elves feel slighted that Niall would choose an Illisiyan elf over a Vondarian one. Under Kolvar's rule Vondaria has flourished and the people, as of yet, have no real complaints to make.
After becoming a widow, Kolvar's mother returned to her forest home. Kolvar has shown both his mother's aptitude for magic, and his father's martial prowess. Alone, he is a force to be reckoned with. Many elves have migrated to this Kingdom, desiring to interact more with the world and increase their knowledge and wealth. Dwarves have a major trade route through the capital. Dwarves are common in Goldthrone and along the traderoute, but not in outlying lands.
